Optical Prisms
WISOPTIC Advantages of Optical Prisms
• Plentiful options of substrates from DUV to IR
• Custom design of dimension and shape
• Wide range of types
• Precise processing and coating
• High laser damage threshold
There are four main types of prisms based on the function: dispersion prism, deflection or reflection prism, rotating prism and offset prism. Deflection, offset and rotating prisms are commonly used in imaging applications; diffusion prisms are designed for dispersive light sources and are not suitable for any application that requires high quality images.
WISOPTIC offers a wide range of optical prisms with various designs, substrates, or coatings. For example, Penta Prisms, Right Angle Prisms, Dove Prisms, Roof Prisms, Porro Prisms, Retro-Reflectors, Anamorphic Prism Pairs, Pellin Broca Prisms, Equilateral Dispersive Prisms etc. Substrates options include BK7, UVFS or SF11 optical material. AR coating options include MgF2, UV-VIS, UV-AR, etc.
